This role is to effectively manage and take full ownership of the seminars and events programme in the UK to maximise new business and close opportunities.

What the roles entails :
To ensure the effective management of all seminars and events that maximise new business opportunities for the company.
Analysis of each event (quality of delegates, overall registrations, daily execution, performance etc) with a full understanding of all data and reporting.
Provide weekly updates on Events performance and attend the Sales Ops team meetings.
Writing and proof-reading any marketing copy and literature related to Seminars / Events.
Overseeing the workflow of the team, assigning tasks, projects, and activities.
Develop strong collaborative working relationships with the Business Development Managers, Regional managers, Business Sales Team, and Floor managers to ensure that events and seminars are ran to their full potential and that every opportunity is exhausted.
Manage, monitor and review core events metrics, for example, sales revenue performance, conversion rates, attendance and cancellation rates.
Identify areas of improvement and implement effective strategies and changes where needed.
To take full ownership of the event programme and the Departmental targets, including planning, mapping future events, overseeing ongoing current programme and introduction / development of new types of events.
Skills we look for in an Events Manager :
Experience of managing successful seminars or events for new business acquisition.
Working with CRM systems
Able to work effectively within fast-paced, dynamic environment meeting tight deadlines.
Confidence in delivering events analysis and guidance to Board level members.
A positive enhance performance and drive departmental accountability.
An effective communicator with internal and external parties.
Able to motivate, lead and coach a small team of people.
