Job descriptionFull UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 2 years of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be accustomed to using a curtainside vehicle. The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Castleford area. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.
Hours : Monday to Friday, 6am start times.
Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role :
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport empty pallets to and from designated locations.
- Secure loads using ratchet straps to ensure safe transportation.
- Collaborate with onsite personnel for pallet loading and unloading activities.
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle.
