SEN Teaching Assistant - Modern Secondary School in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire - £85 - £120 p / day depending on experience - September Start

Tradewind are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a great SEN team at a leading secondary School supporting pupils in years 7-9 with mild and moderate additional needs.

85 - £120 p / day depending on experience
September Start - or July for graduates looking to start before the Summer break
Monday - Friday 8 : 30-3 : 30pm long term role for minimum 1x year

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to the student's EHCP / IEP guidelines to deliver suitable support.

Offer individualised support for learning and tasks.

Cultivate a positive sense of well-being by fostering inclusivity.

Create personalised resources and use new approaches to allow equal access to the curriculum.

Qualifications and Skills

Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

Skilled in collaborative teamwork within a team-centric environment.

Displayed patience, empathy, and a genuine dedication to enhancing the educational advancement of SEN students.

Prior history of working with students with special educational needs.
