Role :  Lead Pharmacist

Banding :  Band 8a

Location :  Wycombe

Start Date :  ASAP

Duration : 3 Months

Working Pattern :  30 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days, flexible)

Rate :  £34 – £39 per hour

About the role :

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Lead Pharmacist for Governance and Medication Safety in Wycombe. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of medication safety and governance across our hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage medication safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Deliver pharmacy services across a range of specialties.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
  • Travel across sites as required.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Essential : Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy practice.Considerable hospital pharmacy experience at Post Registration Pharmacist level.Delivery of pharmacy services to a range of specialities.
  • Desirable : Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proven ability to deliver pharmacy services to various specialities.
