Role details :

As Part of Altrad Babcock, Asset Management has a requirement for an Engineer to join their Engineering Design team. This role is supporting a business that creates and applies high end solutions to solve problems across multiple industries. The role is centrally based in Renfrew, however can also offer opportunities for visiting our customer’s sites in the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities :

• Generate 3D product design scopes for engineering solutions, including product development and design for manufacture.
• Engineering design using 3D CAD tools. Including production of drawings, modelling, file format conversions, facilitation of design reviews, supplier product evaluations, and design risk management.
• Pipework Modifications (Anti-Vibration Pipework Supports, Anti-Vibration Pipework Dampers, Basic Pipework Modifications)
