This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need extra support to thrive academically and personally.The Role : Supporting students who have been excluded from mainstream schools or struggle with social, emotional, or behavioural challengesAssisting in delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needsWorking closely with students in small groups or on a 1 : 1 basis to improve literacy, writing skills, and confidenceEncouraging positive behaviour and engagement through a patient and supportive approachCollaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement personalised learning plansHelping to create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environmentRequirements : A strong background in English (Degree, A-Level, or equivalent experience)Experience working with young people who have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or challenging behaviour (desirable)Resilience, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with studentsA proactive, flexible, and empathetic approach to supporting learningExperience in an alternative provision, PRU, or SEN setting (preferred but not essential)What We Offer : A rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on students' livesTraining and support from experienced SEN and behaviour specialistsA friendly and supportive team in a well-resourced PRU settingCompetitive salary based on experienceIf you are passionate about helping young people overcome challenges and succeed in education, we want to hear from you!
