English Teacher

Are you an inspirational and experienced English Teacher looking for a fantastic opportunity to ignite the minds of students aged 11 to 16?

Career Teachers are seeking a qualified Teacher (QTS / QTLS) with experience of teaching English at KS3 and 4, for a secondary school based in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time role to start September on a full-time, temporary basis. This position is suitable for an experienced or ECT English Teacher.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to academic excellence and the creative talents of their students. Our school are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher who can inspire students to explore and excel in sciences.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and the development in English literature and language. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students to succeed and will be key inspire a love for English in their student.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• A Bachelor’s degree in English language or literature
• Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Experience teaching English at KS3-4
• Right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
