The Role : Secretary / Administrator – Part time 21 hours (per week)Location : BirminghamSalary : £25,000 (Pro Rata)Our clients are looking for a dedicated Secretary / Administrator to join their team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This role plays a vital part in managing administrative tasks, organising events, and supporting charitable activities. This role will require initiative, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle phone calls and respond to charity-related queries.Monitor and manage the charity's inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses.Organise back-office administration for events, such as sending out invitations, tracking responses, and providing weekly updates.Maintain an up-to-date database of charity contacts (Trustees, Patrons, volunteers, organisations, and contributors).Oversee the grants process, including receiving and assigning applications, coordinating assessment meetings, and maintaining accurate records of grant recipients.Organise Trustee and fundraising meetings, ensure meeting documents are sent 7 days in advance, and attend meetings to take minutes.Provide clerical support as needed, including drafting letters and preparing reports.
