An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a supportive, positive, talented team in an OFSTED ‘GOOD’ secondary school. The school are seeking to employ a secondary teaching assistant who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in understanding the curriculum.

THE IDEAL TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL

This Teaching Assistant vacancy will see the successful graduate working across the school to help attainment and progress.

The Teaching Assistant will be working closely with GCSE and A-Level students

provide booster sessions which will concentrate on exam practice to prepare them for the summer.

The school are keen to progress and develop graduates in teachers, so there will be the opportunity for the hired Teaching Assistant to help plan, observe and deliver lessons jointly with teachers.

Position :

• Type of work – Teaching Assistant – No previous experience required
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – 1 Year – Immediate start until July 2024 with the view to get the contract extended
• End date (if applicable) – July 2024 with the view to get the contract extended
• Contract type – Temporary with the view to go permanent after
• Full time / part time – FULL TIME ONLY
• Minimum rate of pay – £90 per day
• Hours – 8 : 15am – 4 pm (full day)
