Job Title : Bookkeeper

Location : Garforth

Salary : £27,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Garforth. This is an excellent opportunity for a someone with Practice experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

Preparation and finalisation of VAT returns

Payroll and CIS

Liaising with clients regarding all aspects of the above

Using Dext, Xero, Sage Payroll

Requirements :

Previous experience in a bookkeeping within an Accountancy Practice

AAT qualification (or equivalent)

Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage

Strong understanding of VAT and payroll processes

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
