Pay is £85 – £90 per day depending on experience (Estimated £ – £ Per Week)

September START – Full-time (8.30am – 3.30pm – Monday – Friday)

About this particular role;

We’re working with a Secondary School based in Bolton, Greater Manchester who are in need of confident and outgoing 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support throughout the school on a full-time basis.

We are looking for someone who has recent experience with SEN and additional learning needs on a 1-1 basis and generally in the classroom. The role is temporary and will be on a full-time basis commencing this September but could possibly lead to something longer term.

Skills required to be a 1-1 Learning Mentor;

• Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant or equivalent
• Aged 21 and or above
• have an understanding of special needs and how to support those children specifically with Autism
• have excellent spoken and written english
• ability to break down and articulate study material to your student
• helping teachers plan learning activities and complete records
• supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• supervising group activities
• helping with outings and sports events
• expereince with personal care
• taking part in training
• carrying out administrative tasks

In this role you will obtain;

Successful candidates will be required to conduct an interview and complete a vetting process which includes an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.
