Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Safeguarding Team based in Kingston / Richmond.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker :

  • Supporting children and young people who are subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans
  • Understanding when to transfer cases from the Safeguarding team to the Permanence team
  • Building strong and respectful working relationships with families, their support network and our partner agencies
  • Regular assessment writing, threshold application, home visits, direct work, care planning, chairing meetings and case recording in line with our policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that children and young people are actively involved in our work and their voice is captured in our case recording
  • Actively taking part in reflective supervision and group supervision
  • What we are looking for in a Social Worker :

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
