Job description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a food manufacturing firm in the Newtownards area on the appointment of a Dispatch Manager.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager you will oversee daily activities of outward-bound products.

In your new role :

  • Strong focus on continuous improvement, carrying out and implementing process improvement projects
  • Oversee the delivery of products to customers in an accurate and timely manner
  • Stock management
  • Frequently liaise with operations, suppliers, carriers, customers, and sales teams
  • Manage staffing rosters, weekly payments, and holidays of team
  • Lead, motivate, and support team by producing Performance Development Plans for all direct reports
  • Ensure strict Health & Safety standards are adhere to at all times

    • What you will need to succeed :

  • A minimum of 3 year experience in fast paced Despatch / Logistics / Warehousing operation
  • Experienced in leading a team
  • Sound understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements
