Are you looking for a new role in Education?

Do you have previous experience working in Primary schools?

Academic Appointments are working with many schools in Sheffield and are currently looking to recruit candidates who are looking to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Primary schools.

Responsibilities include :

Providing both dedicated SEN support to SEN pupils and the other pupils in class
Supporting the students’ academic progress and development
Enabling pupils with SEN to become independent learners
Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development
Following all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policies

Do you Have :

Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with children with additional needs, ideally within SEN / Mainstream settings

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 and above Or Level 3 Teaching assistant Qualification

Other higher or equivalent or relevant qualifications to mentioned above

Good organisational and excellent communication skills

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
