Job description

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is seeking an HGV 2 driver to start immediately for a client based in Edinburgh.

Requirements for a Class 2 Driver :

Must have a Category C Licence
Valid CPC Card and Digi tacho card
No more than 9 points on your licence (no DD, DR, CD, IN endorsements accepted due to insurance stipulations)

Responsibilities of a Class 2 Driver :

Maintain regular communication with transport management

Deliver and collect clean and used linen

Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle

Unload the vehicle upon return to the depot after completing your run

Compensation and Benefits :

Monday-Friday : £13.50 PAYE

Saturday : £17.99 PAYE

Sunday : £20.25 PAYE

Night rate : £17.99

Overtime after 8 hours : £17.99

Minimum 8 hours guaranteed pay per day

Weekly pay

Holiday accrual with every shift

Ad-hoc shifts to fit around other requirements

Additional Information :

Various shift patterns available, including weekends and nights

Commutable from Dalkeith, Leith, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas
