This role would be perfectly suited to an apprentice trained multiskilled maintenance technician with an FMCG background. This position is a shift based role, and it will provide you with a market leading benefits package made up of private medical for yourself and partner, a 12% pension, a 5% bonus opportunity and a strong salary. Roles and Responsibilities :

Maintenance, repair and setting up of Manufacturing, Packaging and Warehousing equipment.

Pro-active resolution of frequent production issues.

Utilise modern maintenance techniques to drive improvements.

Participate in daily maintenance shift handover meetings.

Undertake training in all equipment maintenance activities.

Undertake training of all maintenance section related SOPs.

Undertake maintenance section 5S activities.

Requirements

Time served apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical)

Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment (food, packaging, pharmaceutical)

Basic understanding of “6 Sigma” problem solving techniques.

A high degree of knowledge of all Equipment and Maintenance functions.

Strong awareness of Quality, Production and Engineering requirements.
