NRL’s Engineer client is looking to recruit a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer on a 6 month contract, to be based in Leven, Fife. This is offered on an Umbrella or PAYE basis.About the role : The role reports into the Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer and / or Site Commissioning Manager. The Electrical Commissioning Engineer, working as part of a multi-disciplined team, would be responsible for the following electrical activities as part of the commissioning execution : Prepare internal and review vendor electrical commissioning and test procedures.To read & interpret applicable technical information, including drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, manuals, codes, and specifications.Support as required Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.Conducts detailed equipment, subsystem, Mechanical Completion walk-downs.Carry out commissioning and testing activities in line with written commissioning procedures.Commissioning activities undertaken in accordance with the commissioning programme.Ensure all commissioning dossiers are maintained with up-to-date check sheets and commissioning records.Identifying, recording, and rectifying of faults.Management and witnessing of vendor activities.The candidate who should ideally have a HNC in Electrical Engineering or have significant and relevant time served electrical commissioning experience with a background in the energy, process or hydrocarbon industry.
