Male Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant to work in a Crosby secondary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

The school are looking for a Male Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of Year 7 students who have been assessed and it is felt that a male would be better suited to the children's needs. The role is to start immediately and is a longterm position. It is Monday - Friday, 8.20am - 3.15pm, term time only.

The successful Teaching Assistant would be working under the direction of the centre Manager with one other Teaching Assistant.

Your role would be to support the group of Year 7 students with their academic learning as well as in developing their social, emotional, and mental health. The successful candidate will ideally bring with them, experience working with young people.

To start ASAP until 19th July 2024

Monday - Friday, Term time only

Pay £86 a day

• Relevant experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Graduates preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
