Job Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and maintain risk standards and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal, regulatory, and Corporate Policy requirements.
  • Oversee the Front Line’s execution and address challenges related to compliance decisions.
  • Support monitoring of a risk-based compliance program.
  • Develop and oversee standards with some business and functional knowledge.
  • Provide compliance risk insights and support projects with low to moderate risk.
  • Work with business units on compliance matters related to specific rules and regulations.
  • Support reporting, escalation, and remediation of compliance issues and deficiencies.
  • Draft reports and recommendations for management.
  • Implement initiatives with low to moderate risk and support risk oversight activities.
  • Manage data accuracy and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Research regulatory rules and manage related projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control.
  • Build effective relationships with various teams and internal customers.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Exercise independent judgment while understanding policies and compliance needs.

Desired Profile

  • Maintain regulatory inventory in the system as per procedures.
  • Perform quality checks on team work.
  • Manage regulatory inventory team.
  • Engage with QA, Legal, Compliance, and vendor partners for process updates.
  • Coach and train junior team members.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Keep process procedures updated.
  • Qualifications

  • B.Com, MBA, or M.Com with 10+ years in Banking and Financial Services, including 4+ years in risk management.
  • 3+ years of People Management / Leadership experience.
  • Experience in Compliance or related fields through work, training, military, or education.
  • Technical / Professional Skills

  • Law degree or Company Secretary qualification.
  • Experience with technology data entry processes.
  • Ability to guide team on using SHRP Governance Management system (Archer platform).
  • Coaching and training skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, professional, and improvement-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage.
