Job description

Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS) ideally you will have Solar Farm experienec but not essential, to work in my clients Southend Office with onsite visits too.

Job purpose :

  • You will help manage costs, prepare estimates, and ensure projects stay within budget.
  • This role involves a mix of office-based tasks like cost analysis and report writing, as well as potential site visits for data collection.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cost Management : Assisting in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and conducting cost analysis.
  • Tender and Contract Support : Helping with the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
  • Project Monitoring : Monitoring project costs, ensuring they remain within budget, and preparing reports.
  • Financial Reporting : Supporting the preparation of monthly cost / value reports and valuations.
  • Risk Management : Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
