Senior Analyst
Reporting to the Head of Data Analysis, you will become a crucial part of our content team. Our analysts deliver high-quality research, data analysis, and market intelligence content - centred around the global energy transition.
You will be responsible for researching financial transactions and global market trends to write timely data-led analyses and market commentaries on the energy and infrastructure space. You will leverage both proprietary and industry data to garner insights into this fast-evolving market, focusing on combining data visualization and industry knowledge.
You will work with leading players across the sector to proactively seek new information and have the critical ability to understand what topics leading practitioners in the field want to learn more about.
As a senior team member, you will take ownership of particular research projects and become the go-to expert on the team for selected areas of coverage.
Responsibilities :
- Produce regular articles covering significant and timely topics across infrastructure and energy markets to be published on the inspiratia platform
- Actively identify topics and develop a pipeline of analytical pieces based on daily monitoring of the market
- Enhance your understanding of financing structures for infrastructure projects, supported by experienced team members
- Build and maintain a network of contacts for input
- Present your work to colleagues / clients, on our podcast, or at industry events
- Use proprietary data to create visualizations highlighting insightful market dynamics
- Take a leading role in producing research reports in your areas of expertise and liaise regularly with the data team to maintain content standards
- Support content team leaders with certain editorial responsibilities when necessary
Requirements :
Master’s level degree or equivalent in STEM fields, statistics, economics, or other highly quantitative disciplineExperience in the energy / infrastructure / finance space in analytical rolesProficient in using advanced Microsoft Excel for processing and analyzing large datasetsHighly numerical, analytical, and detail-oriented mindsetExcellent written and spoken English communication skillsDemonstrated interest in relevant fields such as sustainability, renewable technology, energy infrastructure, energy policy, or project financeAdvantageous :
Experience / knowledge of data visualization and dashboard tools such as Microsoft Power BI, or appropriate programming librariesExperience working in a media / publishing environment, including copy / audio editingEmployment type
