Job description

The Role

Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What we'll need you to bring

  • SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or experience in a secretarial role
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
  • Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
  • Audio typing skills

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK / EU / EEA licence.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience using Auditbase and Scottish birth records system
  • Proficient IT skills, which include a working knowledge of Auditbase, Scottish birth records system and Microsoft packages including excel and outlook
  • Must be able to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and be able to make decisions in a pressurised environment
  • Car driver / car owner with full valid UK / EU / EEU licence

    This role will be based in Audiology within Princess Gate

    The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday
