Our award-winning Managed IT Services client continues to grow and is on the lookout for experienced Infrastructure Engineers with MSP backgrounds to join their dynamic Project Engineering team.

The Role

As an IT Project Engineer, you'll act as a key technical expert, delivering end-to-end IT transformation projects across the group. From scoping and onboarding to migration and implementation, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping modern IT environments for clients.

  • Handle escalations and provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Assist in continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technologies
  • Identify and deliver IT improvements across security, systems, and infrastructure

    • What You’ll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems; Windows Desktops / Servers.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
  • Solid networking skills : TCP / IP, LAN / WAN, Firewalls, Switching, Wireless
  • Experience with virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware, containerisation)
  • Citrix knowledge (desirable)
  • A continuous learning mindset and a proactive approach
  • Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle

    • Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Associate (or above)
  • CCNA (or above)
  • Azure, GCP, or other cloud-based certifications

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assist on IT projects (cloud, systems, security, hardware)
  • Communicate with stakeholders to recommend IT improvements
  • Provide third-party software advice and in-house system testing
  • Log and resolve issues via the ticketing system with excellent communication
  • Create and update customer documentation and knowledge base
  • Contribute to revenue generation opportunities and report to management
  • Follow company ISMS standards and report any concerns
