Production Planner

Our client is a leading, well established andrespected manufacturing business.

Due to new procedures in the company they have an opportunity for a ProductionPlanner.

Duties :

• Liaiseswith sales division to determine customer requirements.
• Approvesmaterials, costs, manufacturing equipment, and the size of workforce needs tomanufacture goods.
• Predictinghow long a project will take to complete.
• Developsa production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed byto meet predicted completion date.
• Liaisingwith customers, suppliers, the human resources department, and maintenance employeesto ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required.
• Monitorsproject's progress to ensure it's following the schedule.
• Troubleshootsproblems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinerymalfunctions.
• Organisesproject paperwork, including purchase orders, and maintains records.
• Monitorsproduction and raw material costs.
• Collectsand assesses data about the production and team's performance.
• Preparesreports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways toimprove efficiency.
