HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In Northampton!

Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers / HGV Drivers / LGV Class 1 Drivers / LGV Drivers / Class 1 Drivers in Northampton for our NEW CLIENT.

  • 12 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required

    • Location :  Northampton NN3 8RH

    Working Hours :

  • AdHoc Shifts Available

    • Pay Rate :

  • LTD & PAYE : £17.59 – £20.26 P / hr

    • About this role :

  • Ambient work – You will be driving ambient products that do not require temperate checks.
  • Trunking – You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.
  • Store Delivery –Transporting various type of goods from location to stores.
  • General haulage – Transporting various types of goods from location to location.
  • Manual handling – This involves physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods as needed during loading and unloading operations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

    • About You :

  • You should hold a valid HGV 1 / C+E Licence and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • No more than 6 points no DD / DR Code convictions
  • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
