Environmental Specialist

Environmental Specialist required. My client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to hire an Environmental Specialist to join their established team in Standish, Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environmental management, will be familiar with ISO : 14001 & ISO : 50001, will be have strong understanding of key environmental legislation and will be based within a commutable distance of Standish, Wigan.

Environmental Specialist Position Overview

• Identify new business opportunities to improve the environmental management system
• Managing the business's environmental management program
• Provide guidance and support on environmental legislation
• Manage waste minimisation for both sites
• Championing environmental improvements via the Asset plan and CapEx programs
• Internal improvements on 12 principles of green chemistry
• Ecovardis reviews and assessments
