Job Description :

A major organisation is seeking a highly skilled AI Specialist - Automation & Integration to develop innovative solutions across business operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data science and a passion for using AI to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and deliver measurable impact through advanced automation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and deploy AI-powered solutions that automate and enhance complex business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build intelligent automation pipelines using tools such as Python, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and n8n.
  • Apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to real-world challenges like email triage, document parsing, and data enrichment.
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to power internal AI assistants with trusted business knowledge.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on Proofs of Concept to test ideas and gather user feedback early.
  • Use AI agents to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks across internal systems.
  • Monitor the performance of deployed models, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver clear ROI.
  • Document workflows and share learning across teams to support wider AI adoption.
  • Stay current with developments in AI, automation, and machine learning tools and techniques.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Demonstrable experience in a Data Scientist or AI Automation role.
  • Hands-on expertise with natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience using Python, OpenAI, LangChain, and vector databases.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design practical AI solutions with business outcomes in mind.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage projects independently in a hybrid or remote environment.
  • Experience working in agile environments and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Background in deploying AI / ML models to production (MLOps).
  • Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Interest or experience in building autonomous agents or internal AI assistants.
  • Why Join?

  • Competitive salary, pension and attractive benefits package.
  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects that have immediate business impact.
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking, and experimentation-friendly work environment.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning and career development.
  • Location : Remote with very occasional travel (UK-based)

Salary : Up to £90,000 + typical benefits

If you’re an experienced Data Scientist with a passion for AI, automation, and practical innovation — we’d love to hear from you.
