Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent full time position of 37 hours .

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 9 to 5.

Medical Secretary required for very busy Acute Care Department. Excellent organizational & keyboard skills required. Trakcare & Winscribe experience are essential. Secretarial experience is preferred. Must have pleasant telephone manner and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment. Required to make appointments, manage discharge lists, type clinic letters / reports and prioritise workload. Must be able to make decisions and prioritise workload.
