Job Title :  Teaching and learning Assistant

Key responsibilities

  • Providing person centred, day to day support, delivering 1 : 1, paired and small group teaching, and pupil sessions
  • Supervise and support our pupils to engage in community-based learning and educational visits.
  • Use your creativity daily to support lesson plans through preparing materials and resources.
  • Support our pupils to develop crucial life skills, meet their goals and aspirations through communication, independence and participation

Skills & experience

  • Experience of working in a similar setting and role
  • Experience with working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support
  • Experience with providing / willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs (e. peg feeding, toileting, changing etc.)
  • Available to interview immediately
  • Right to Work & Enhanced Adult / Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service
