Job description

Are you an experienced CNC Grinder / Grinding Technician?

Can you work from instructions and to tight tolerances?

Can you commute to Bradford West Yorkshire?

We are working with a Global Manufacturing business that specializes in high-quality precision engineering based in Shipley. Our client has an outstanding reputation for innovative technologies and delivering first-class quality assemblies and critical components.

Due to growth and increased orders, our client is looking to recruit Grinding Technician to join their existing teams on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the job :

  • Working form drawing and instructions
  • Grinding using a Jones & Shipman machine
  • Working to tolerances of 10 microns
  • Quality checking
  • Packing

    • About you :

  • Ability to work from instructions and drawings
  • Experience in grinding components
  • Ability to work to a tolerance of 10 microns
  • A good eye for detail and the ability to QC your work
  • Previous experience working on a Jones & Shipman Ultramat 1000 CNC machine would be a distinct advantage
