LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver, Bedford

The Best Connection Bedford are recruiting LGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for a distribution company based in MK41. This role will be responsible for transporting stock from the Bedford depot to customers. Will require heavy lifting and handballing. The vehicles that you will be given are modern and well looked after.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 LGV Driver

• Operate up to 26 tonnes vehicles delivering stock to customers
• Supporting the Drivers Mates and Warehouse team in loading and unloading stock
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule using local region knowledge to safely deliver in a timely and professional manner
• Perform and complete inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.​
• A current and valid Cat C Licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card
