Job Title : Project Manager – Passive Fire Protection

Location : London & South East (with travel as required)

Salary : £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

Job Type : Permanent / Full-Time

Company Overview :

CBW is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected family-owned construction company specialising in Passive Fire Protection , Compartmentation Surveys , and Fire Risk Assessments . With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, safety-driven services, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Project Manager .

Role Summary :

The Project Manager will oversee and deliver multiple Passive Fire Protection projects across London and the South East. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of each project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to industry standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong industry knowledge and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and deliver Passive Fire Protection projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks
  • Ensure projects meet safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and budgets
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Support tender and bid processes where necessary

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in Passive Fire Protection project management
  • Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire compartmentation, and relevant regulations
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., BM Trada, FIRAS, NVQ Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to travel across London and the South East
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Desirable :

  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment processes
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects
