Educational Support Worker - SEMH / PRU Provision Location : Stockport, Manchester Salary : £100.00 - £130.00 per day (depending on payroll selection) Contract : Full-time, Long-Term Start Date : Immediate start available Provide Consistent, Compassionate Support to Young People with SEMH Needs Simply Education are seeking a dedicated and resilient Educational Support Worker to join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Stockport, Manchester. This provision supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who require an alternative to mainstream education. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with vulnerable young people, helping them re-engage with learning, regulate their emotions, and develop confidence within a safe and supportive setting. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support students with SEMH needs
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote emotional wellbeing and engagement
• Support the delivery of lessons by adapting approaches to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
• Implement strategies to manage behaviour and de-escalate incidents in a calm and professional manner
• Reinforce positive routines, boundaries, and social development
• Liaise with teachers, safeguarding leads, therapists, and external agencies to support pupil progress
