Divisional Accountant

Hourly Rate : £28 - £35 per hour

Contract : Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended

Work Schedule : Full time, Monday – Friday.

As part of a hybrid working, employees are required to come into the office a minimum of 2 days a week.

Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a local authority in Central London to provide in the assistance of recruiting a Divisional Accountant.

Role Brief :

The role as Divisional Accountant will add value to and assist in the delivery of the professional services provided by Finance & Corporate Services or the finance function in service departments.

Principle Responsibilities will include :

• Provision of high quality information and appropriate financial advice to the council and senior officers.
• Assisting in ensuring compliance with the council’s overall regulatory framework
• Ensuring the continuous improvement of the quality of financial monitoring and reporting, to enhance decision-making processes
