The Procurement Manager Indirect will be responsible for developing the business to achieve best practice and add value. You will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies and sourcing initiatives across all categories with Indirect functions with a group spend in excess of £1B.
Role Responsbilities - Procurement Manager Indirect
Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performanceBuilding and maintaining collaborative cross-functional relationships between the Procurement team and its internal customers, that provide for appropriate levels of service and support being maintainedDeveloping and presenting market-competitive category management strategiesDeveloping and implementing an effective supplier relationship management program to drive improvements in supplier performancesExpert in contract negotiations, pricing analysis and markets forecastingCreate, review and challenge processes within the department to ensure it is value-addedSupplier capacity reviews to support any new or on-going business requirementsResponsible for the management of Purchasing activities for the development of Procurement’s core processes, standard operating procedures and category management strategies to ensure that cost-effective and robust contracts are sourced, negotiated, awarded and maintained with strategic partnersResponsible for maintaining and accountability of KPI’s, while working with internal stakeholders to drive improvement and cost-effective solutionsIdentification and implementation of cost-saving opportunitiesYou will manage the end-to-end capex-related procurement activities including sourcing execution, negotiation, contract management and supplier managementYou will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage expenditures to ensure projects are completed on time
