Our client is a leading manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities :

Using Solidworks to Design sheet metal parts.

Develop concepts and Prototypes from customer requirements

Producing technical 3D Drawings

Compiling BOMs and other technical documentation

Conducting site surveys from time to time

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

1-2 years experience in sheet metal design MINIMUM

1-2 years experience with Solidworks

Understanding of sheet metal folding and punching machines

Right to work in the UK
