You will be joining an organisation that is in the midst of its most ambitious programme of change yet. You will join a small team of highly skilled Database Administrators based at NHS Blood & Transplant ICTs Database Centre of Excellence in Bristol.
Reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, you will be supporting databases that form part of a critical organ allocation system as well as assisting our development teams as they take NHS Blood & Transplants systems into the future...
Within our Scaled Agile model you'll help to ensure that best practice is adopted in the design and delivery of all aspects of our database systems.NHSBT has a very successful track record in benefits delivery. This is a hybrid role, you may be based at any NHS Blood & Transplant main centres, to be agreed at interview.
Main duties of the job
In this role your responsibilities will include : -
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
