This hospital provides acute adult mental health services, delivered in partnership with the areas healthcare trust. They have a Medium Secure Services on site for patients with a learning disability, and we are looking to develop other service types in the future
- To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin
As a Nurse your key duties include :
Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorderDevelop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagementContribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progressAt a more senior level, you’ll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the teamFollow all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practiceThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
