What will you be doing?

As the Digital Transformation Manager at our Southwark Municipal Collections site, you will lead digital operations and improvements. You will analyze data, collaborate with operational teams, develop solutions, and manage their delivery. You will serve as the main contact between our Digital, Business, and Technology (DB&T) department and frontline operational teams, facilitating digital system transitions and fostering local digital advancements.

This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic, rewarding environment, driving digital change and enhancing service quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with onsite management to improve data quality and application, exceeding operational and client standards.
  • Maintain operational data accuracy and relevance.
  • Use digital solutions to re-engineer back-office processes for efficiency and relevance.
  • Become the expert in our Service Management Software (Echo).
  • Lead projects to implement process and workflow changes.
  • Drive service digitization through technological advancements.
  • Support departments by facilitating communication, training, and deployment of digital tools.
  • Contribute to digital training strategies and provide end-user training.
  • What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Science, Business, Information Systems, Environmental Sciences, or Geographical Information Science
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in operational or analytical management supporting business change
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, planning, and risk management
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in data analytics and manipulation
  • Desirable : PowerBI, SQL, DataBricks, ArcGIS, ArcOnline, Excel, Google Sheets, AppSheets, ProntoForms, Jira, Lucid
