A Site Assistant is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Site Assistant position will be full time (36 hours a week) and temporary in the first instance.

Although working days for this Site Assistant role will generally be Mondays to Fridays, there will be times you will need to work on Saturdays too.

Responsibilities for this Site Assistant role will include but not be limited to :

  • Maintenance of the buildings
  • Carrying out repairs
  • Providing general security
  • Day to day cleaning
  • Carrying out safety checks
  • Working with contractors
  • Ideal applicants for this Site Assistant vacancy will :

  • Have relevant Health & Safety qualifications / training
  • Have previous experience of building maintenance
  • Possess a proactive attitude towards applying regulations
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a decent understanding of how to use ICT and perform DIY
  • Be adaptable, friendly and professional
  • Be able to effectively communicate with others
  • Ensure they uphold the ethos of the school
  • The rates of pay for this Site Assistant post will range from £100 to £180 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

    Requirements
