Job Description
Job Duties :
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and other professionals
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support students' holistic development
Required Qualifications :
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching students with SEN, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needsUnderstanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislationEducation :
Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldExperience :
Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching students with SENExperience working in a similar role within a school settingKnowledge and Skills :
Strong understanding of different learning styles and effective teaching strategies for students with SENExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionalsPreferred Qualifications :
Additional training or qualifications in SEN teaching or related fieldExperience in supporting students with SEMH needsWorking Conditions :

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
