Focused on advancing our technology and integrating web-based navigation, this EHR will allow HCA UK clinicians and colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality and care and to maintain our outstanding ratings and continue to be a global market leader in complex care. Therefore, we are investing in a new workforce to lead this change, and we are actively recruiting now for a 2023 start, focused on change management, transforming work practices, and project delivery of goals and objectives.
What you'll do :
Responsible for ongoing internal support of HCA Laboratories’ externally hosted digital pathology tracking and reporting system
Responsible for the scoping, planning, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of integrations between HCA Laboratories’ digital pathology tracking and reporting system and external parties (including NHS Trusts)
Responsible for technical requirements documentation; integrations design (specifically, the understanding and management of HL7 interfaces); management of governance processes (including HLD and LLD documentation) and approval process; delivery of integrations, including building and testing integrations as required
Management of the process for deploying and integrating new digital capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to and fully compatible with business operations.
Defines and creates a system business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new digital processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment. Determines the readiness levels of business users with regard to upcoming changes; uncovers readiness gaps and creates and implements action plans to close the gaps prior to going live.
Assists the user community in the provision of transition support and change planning and liaises with the project team.
The role will require a detailed and comprehensive understanding of histology and cytology laboratory and process workflows.
What you'll bring :
Digital pathology experience within histology and cytology.
Detailed and comprehensive understanding of histology and cytology laboratory and process workflows.
Experience in healthcare technologies (e.g. LIMS, LIS, Digital Pathology, MEDITECH)
Understanding and management of HL7 interfaces
Experience planning and implementing organizational systems integrations
