Job description

Are you a Certificate Holder Vet with a passion for medicine? This practice in Peterborough is looking for a talented vet with a medical focus to join a friendly, multi-vet team in a beautifully refurbished, spacious clinic set in stunning surroundings.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team, including a Lead Vet who also holds a Medicine certificate, fantastic Head Nurse, and Practice Manager. Collaboration and clinical excellence are at the heart of everything.

About the Practice

The bright and welcoming practice boasts large, light-filled consultation and treatment rooms, on-site parking, a well-equipped staff room, and even a peaceful garden where you can unwind during breaks.

The Role

This is a full-time position with a difference—no out-of-hours, no on-call duties, and no bank holidays. They can also look to offer flexible working and are open to part-time applications too.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver top-tier clinical care in consultations and procedures

Ensure smooth handovers and refer patients for out-of-hours care where needed

Communicate clearly with clients, providing excellent service and updates

Uphold practice and regulatory compliance standards

Provide accurate estimates and manage client expectations

Help develop the clinic by mentoring colleagues and sharing best practice

Collaborate with the wider Medivet community and support growth initiatives

Who they’re Looking For

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible for registration)

Confident in sole charge situations

Strong communicator with a client-first approach

Skilled in medical and surgical standards

Team player who fosters collaboration and growth

A natural mentor and positive role model
