Temporary contract until 30 June 2025 £41,173 to £45,442 per annum (pro rata for part time) (Scale K) 28 hours per week Whitegates, Hethersett

We are looking for an experienced and committed Project Manager to start on the 1st of June or earlier, if possible, initially contracted until 30 June 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person who would like to make a real difference to the library service in Norfolk.

You will have experience of developing and managing projects, ideally including building projects. You will have experience of successfully managing budgets and procurement in a local government environment, be proactive in working alongside partners, suppliers and stakeholders and be able to demonstrate strong communication and engagement skills.

You will also have some experience of writing funding bids and pulling together business cases.

You must be able to persuade, influence others and have a can-do’ approach. You will be keen to develop library services in response to changing customer needs, technologies, and the local government landscape.

You must be flexible in your approach and be able to give clear direction to suppliers and monitor the delivery of allocated projects to a high standard for the people of Norfolk.

The role is part time working 28 hours per week over 4 days (flexible from week to week). Based in Hethersett with travel across the county.

Shortlisted applicants will also complete a written aptitude and psychometric test before the interview.
