NDT TRAINEE TECHNICIAN

We are recruiting for an NDT Trainee Technician for a market leading organisation based in Central Birmingham

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who has a basic level or knowledge or Experience of NDT testing, who is looking to progress or further develop their career.

This role would be best suited to someone who is academically minded who is willing to obtain their accreditation in this specialised field.

You'll contribute to a dynamic team, ensuring the integrity and quality of materials and parts through advanced Non-Destructive Testing techniques. You'll play a key part in maintaining safety and compliance by inspecting and testing parts and materials.

Daily Duties

• Site / Laboratory based Role
• Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining NDT equipment
• Conduct Non-Destructive Tests (NDT) on parts and materials
• Utilising techniques such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI),
• Visual Testing (VT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Working in line with relevant standards and company procedures
• Interpreting and evaluating test results against specified acceptance standards
• Producing clear, accurate, and concise test reports
• Demonstrating professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the role
