CCG is one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies, and we have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our Buying Department, based at our company HQ in Cambuslang.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and plant to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and maintaining quality at all times.

SALARY : DOE

HOURS : Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

LOCATION : 1 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8NB

STATUS : Permanent (this is not a hybrid working role and is based at the office full-time)

THE ROLE

• Prepare material enquiries and evaluate supplier quotations against specification
• Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers and site teams
• Manage procurement budgets and prepare and issue orders in line with project requirements
• Liaise with contracts managers, site teams and the commercial department
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, supplier performance and quality of products.
• Strong knowledge of buying principles
