The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing Physical Therapy services to guests by assisting in the treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication while functioning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in related documentation and communication.
  • Function under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Instruct patients and family members in home programs and activities of daily living.
  • Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred but not required.
  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification required.
