About Our Client
Great opportunity for an experienced Managament Account for a company based in Crawley
Job Description
- Collaborating with department heads to develop and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assessing and mitigating financial risks through proactive measures
- To provide analysis, commentaries and year-end projections
- To regularly review income and expenditure with managers
- To support the annual budget setting process and provide financial input into the contracting and business planning.
- To assist in maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts and interfaces with feeder systems
- To assist with financial reporting
- To provide forecasting information for budget holders, developing / creating reports as required.
- To write financial and activity reports
- To work closely with other finance colleagues to ensure cross-functionality at all times.
- To undertake other duties as required by the Finance Business Partner.
- Experience of working a financial management function
- Experience completing complex pieces of work to tight deadlines
- Good MS Office skills (in particular Excel)
- Advanced level MS Excel skills
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Able to meet goals
- Strong analytic qualities
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Degree educated or equivalent demonstrative experience - desire-able
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience - desire-able
- Or may be working towards an accountancy degree
- Salary £40k-£45k
