Salary range £38,000-£41,500 pa and Golden Hello

37.5 hours a week

Working as part of the Cath Lab team you will be responsible for the day to day management of patients through our Cath Labs and support our clinicians in delivering high quality care to our patients.

As part of your role you will support individuals and our teams to deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Along the way, you'll build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients. Working collaboratively alongside the consultants, you’ll ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care.

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and with a minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience, you will be reliable, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual.

As a specialist Cardiac centre, we offer the full complement of Catheter lab interventions including; Angioplasty / PCI, Cardiac Device implantation, Electrophysiology Study including ablation with 3D Mapping and Structural heart interventions such as TAVI & ASD closure. We offer training for extended Cardiology skills that will allow you to build your confidence, clinical practice and support our growing service.

We are currently offering several full time positions and applicants should be willing to work flexibly across different shift patterns (8am-8pm) as well as working as part of the On-call team. We need caring individuals who respect their patients and colleagues, you must be able to communicate at all levels and be a strong patient advocate.

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital

We’ve opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital : The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including : orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
