Job description

A school in Rawtenstall has approached Teaching Personnel as they require a Teaching Assistant which is able to work 1 : 1 to support a young child with PMLD.

The child will need support throughout the school day as they have complex needs and therefore need extra care to keep them stimulated and happy within school.

The successful candidate should help the child access the curriculum as per their individual support plan.

The school ensures that the children get the highest quality of care as it has access to a range of specialist facilities.

Therefore, the ideal candidate must be comfortable working with multiple agencies to ensure that the specific child can achieve the best they can.

The school caters for pupils ages 11-16 with mild and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Key Information :

  • Pay will be £12.90p / hour
  • Working hours 8 : 30 3 : 30pm Monday - Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
